Title: The e-Business Generation -Why Small Business need to be online and how to do it well

Target: The workshop is for non-technical people who want to know more about the commercial aspects of the web. If you haven't yet created your online presence, this workshop will help you understand the business aspects of what you need to do and how you need to get started and it will answer some of your questions about budgets - what does it cost - what should it cost.

The internet is the driving force behind today's evolution of customer behavior and expectations. It has been around for 24 years - there are over one billion people accessing it and last year consumers spent over R42 trillion on the web. And it is still growing at a staggering 20% a year with the number of websites growing at a rate of 4 million per month. In some businesses more than half the transactions take place online and eight out of ten purchases are researched using the information and services available on the internet.
