The workshop is for non-technical people who want to know more about the commercial aspects of the web. The internet is the driving force behind today's evolution of customer behavior and expectations. It has been around for 24 years - there are over one billion people accessing it and last year consumers spent over R42 trillion on the web. And it is still growing at a staggering 20% a year with the number of websites growing at a rate of 4 million per month. In some businesses more than half the transactions take place online and eight out of ten purchases are researched using the information and services available on the internet.
