Post Woods adds Honda to schedule
Tiger Woods has confirmed that he has decided to add the Honda Classic in Florida on March 1-4 to his schedule.

This means that, starting next week at the World Golf Championships (WGC)-Accenture Match Play Championship, Woods will begin a three-week stretch on the PGA Tour that continues with the Honda Classic and finishes up at Doral for the WGC-Cadillac Championship.

Woods, who now lives near Jupiter Island in Florida, not far from where the Honda is held at Palm Beach Gardens, made the announcement on his website.

"I heard great things about The Honda Classic," Woods said in a release. "Now that I live here I want to playPing K15 Iron Set 3H-5H, 6-PW with Graphite Shafts
whenever possible. (Jack Nicklaus') involvement in the tournament and the benefits to the local community are also important."

It will be the former world number one's first time playing in the event as a professional, having only played there before in 1993 as a 17-year-old amateur.

Back then, he missed the cut, but he will no doubt be hoping to do a lot better this time around. Despite his comprehensive defeat to Phil Mickelson at Pebble Beach on Sunday, Woods remains confident about the state of his game Ping K15 Iron Set 3H-5H, 6-PW with Graphite Shafts

"I'm excited about my start and look forward to keep building," Woods said. "I've made great strides from last year and hopefully all my hard work will pay off with a victory soon."

The addition of Woods brings further prestige to what is already a quality field assembled for the Honda Classic - a field that includes the likes of Masters champ Charl Schwartzel, U.S. Open champ Rory McIlroy, British Open champ Darren Clarke and English star Lee Westwood.

"We obviously are thrilled to have Tiger Woods play in The Honda Classic," Executive Director Ken Kennerly told pgatour.com. "We have worked hard for five years to make this one of the premier events on the PGA TOUR. This is a testament to where the tournament has come. Ping K15 Iron Set 3H-5H, 6-PW with Graphite Shafts
