PROS
DISTANCE: Searing, penetrating flight helps to maximize roll, especially on firm fairways; off-center hits don’t leave you disappointed.

PLAYABILITY: Medium-high ball flight with a fair amount of hang time; easy to alter shot shape left or right by adjusting the clubhead.

CONS
A few guys prefer a bit more forgiveness; its name, “RocketBallz,” draws some quizzical looks and laughs.
The New 2012 TaylorMade RocketBallZ RBZ Drivers offers a variety of technologies including Flight Control Technology (FCT), which has been further enhanced by enabling loft adjustments up to 1.5 degrees and a face angle up to 3 degrees. With a maximum sized titanium clubhead (460cc) and a Thick-Thin Crown design, RocketBallz lowers the Center of Gravity (CG) for increased swing speed and longer distances off the tee. Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) promotes more ball speed on off-center hits - making it a very forgiving driver. Aesthetically, the white crown and black face combination makes alignment easy and eliminates any glare on top of the clubhead. If these enhancements weren't enough, RocketBallz also features a lightweight Matrix XCON 5 shaft and TaylorMade's own performance lightweight FCT Lite grip.

"The combination of light weight, faster aerodynamics, and the customization of FCT is what makes this driver an absolute monster." - Tom Olsavsky, TaylorMade Senior Director - Metalwood Creation
