Jamieson finished third three times last season but is still to enjoy his maiden European Tour victory, and started with Nike - VR Pro Blade Irons at the first.
That was followed by a bogey at the next, but further gains at seventh, ninth, 11th and 13th put him on course to set the clubhouse target.
